Discovering Manhwa: An Adventure into Korean Comics

        Hey there, fellow comic lovers! Get ready for an exciting journey into the world of Korean comics, also known as manhwa. I'm Feb Andrie Helery D. Padillo and I'm thrilled to share my love for manhwa with you through this blog. 

Manhwa (만화) is the general Korean term for comics and print cartoons. Outside Korea, the term usually refers to South Korean comics. Manhwa is directly influenced by Japanese manga comics. Modern Manhwa has extended its reach to many other countries. These comics have branched outside of Korea by access of Webtoons and have created an impact that has resulted in some movie and television show adaptations. 

         Manhwa is characterized by its unique blend of storytelling and artwork. The characters are often expressive and engaging, the plots are intricate and suspenseful, and the artwork is both beautiful and dynamic. Manhwa is typically read from left to right, unlike manga, which is read from right to left.

       I knew about manhwa from reading manga's. While I was browsing some manga's on the internet I suddenly came across a manhwa and it's cover caught my eyes. The colorful and captivating book covers, as well as the promise of interesting stories, caught my attention. Once I started reading manhwa, I was captivated by the fascinating characters, intricate plots, and the unique Korean cultural aspects that were part of the stories.

       Manhwa has become a source of joy and inspiration for me. It has opened my eyes to new cultures and perspectives, and it has introduced me to some of the most memorable characters I have ever encountered.

     If you are looking for a new and exciting reading experience, I highly encourage you to give manhwa a try. There's a manhwa out there for everyone, and I guarantee that you'll find something that will captivate your heart and mind.

Here are manhwa's I definitely recommend:

1. Solo Leveling 

    I suggest "Solo Leveling" because it's a fantastic action-packed story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The main character's journey from weak to powerful is super exciting, and the art is just mind-blowing. It's like reading a real adventure.

2. Omniscient Readers Viewpoint

        This manhwa is about a guy named Dokja Kim who gets transported into the world of a novel he's been reading. He knows the ending of the novel, so he uses his knowledge to try to change the story. This manhwa is a mind-bending and thought-provoking read that will keep you guessing until the very end. The characters are well-developed and relatable, and the plot is full of twists and turns. 

3. Who made me a princess

This manhwa is about a girl named Athanasia who gets reincarnated as the daughter of the emperor. She has to use her wit and charm to survive in the palace. This manhwa is a heartwarming and comedic read that will make you laugh and cry. The characters are adorable, and the story is full of humor and heart.
